Charles has worked in the Financial Planning industry since 1983. He earned the CFP® designation in 1989. Offering comprehensive financial planning to the retirement and pre-retirement market, he developed a fee and commission solo practice.

In addition to the CFP® designation, Charles is also a Chartered Life Underwriter (CLU) and Chartered Financial Consultant (ChFC). He served as President of the Tampa Bay ICFP, and twice as President of the Financial Planning Association (FPA) of the Suncoast. He is currently Chairman of the Board of the FPA of the Suncoast. On a national level he is currently serving on several committees for the FPA, including Membership and the Practitioner Taskforce.

Charles has been interviewed and quoted in numerous local and national publications. He served on several panel discussions and lectured on financial planning throughout the U.S. Additionally, he taught CFP¨ courses for Keiser College, reviewed exam questions for the CFP Board of Standards, and was a contributor to the Fiduciary CEU Training Module for the National Guardianship Association.

Charles and his wife, Vicki, live in Sarasota, FL. He is active in Rotary and community and international charitable projects.
